A burger at the US Open will cost you 7.50 USD. The area where you can buy stuff and there is a lot of it to look at will set you back at least 75 dollars a golf shirt, or perhaps a little more if you go full designer. The cheapest thing to be found is the program which is a steal at 10 USD. So bring plenty of cash or a boatload of plastic because you're going to need it at this venue.
You'll enter thru an area that's gigantic is scope and doesn't look at all like a golf tournament it's very regal looking . If you were at this course two years ago when it was the AT&T hosted by Tiger Woods, well its been seriously doctored. No one has ever liked the 18th hole so it's been changed. Other holes are longer and bunkered up. Tee area's are longer. It's what you expect from the USGA, they had over two years to mess with this course and mess with it they did.
Local area parking, unless you have a parking pass for a local lot FORGET Coming over to Potomac. You will be towed.
It's a shame that when a golf event is not occurring around these parts you can never find a police car when you need it. Plenty of them this week, trashing the grass around AVENEL.
Good chance of rain on Thursday, Friday and over the weekend and that means the local parking areas will be mud piles. Good luck with that.
